September Grill Fundraisers for Canmore

Join us on Thursdays to support the Higher Ground Project. We will be demonstrating our grill skills by cooking up some delicious goodies to raise much needed money in our wonderful community of Canmore. Come and show us your community spirit and generosity by donating funds while taste testing some mouth-watering smoked or BBQ goodness.

About the Higher Ground Project:

The Higher Ground Project is the YWCA’s plan to bring a new, purpose-built facility to Canmore with a range of services that address domestic and sexual violence in the Bow Valley. This includes shelter and transitional housing, counselling, services for children, and violence prevention programs. Higher Ground will leverage the unique expertise of the YWCA, other local agencies, and the broader network of service providers throughout Alberta in order to provide relevant, long-term support for Bow Valley residents experiencing violence and associated vulnerabilities.
